Indonesian PUBG MOBILE National Team Solo Category Coach for SEA Games 2023, Robby Mahardika “NaTic” Saputra, has special messages that he always reminds his team.
The multi-sport event of the Southeast Asian Games, known as the Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games), will be held in May 2023 in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
At the SEA Games 2023 event in Cambodia, PUBG MOBILE is once again competing in esports, with two categories, namely Team Events (Team) and Individual Events (Solo).
With excellent achievements in last year’s event – namely 1 gold medal in the Team category and 1 silver medal in the Solo category – Indonesia is certainly optimistic to contribute medals to Indonesia again in this year’s PUBG MOBILE esports.

PUBG MOBILE national team coach for the Solo category, Robby Mahardika “NaTic” Saputra, also expressed the target of medals they want to give to Indonesia at the 2023 SEA Games.
“The real objective is to be able to defend yesterday’s medal (silver), and we are chasing it so that we can maximize by bringing 3 medals,” said NaTic.
NaTic’s statement shared in the press release is certainly not based on optimism alone, because he has shared many lessons learned with the PUBG MOBILE Solo Indonesia national team during the period of the national training camp (pelatnas). He also revealed that Indonesia’s preparation for the Solo category had reached 90%.
“The preparation is already 90%. During national training we focus so that the athletes who are going to compete must really understand how systematic SOLO Mode is, because it is very different from TEAM Mode,” said NaTic.
In PUBG MOBILE, Solo mode and Squad mode have very different battle mechanics. First, tapping into Solo mode will immediately return players to the lobby, so each player only gets one chance in each match.
Second, the Solo category in the 2023 SEA Games will bring together 60 players at once in a match, which means that each player has to face 59 enemies at once. This is what makes NaTic often deliver special messages to always be remembered by the national team athletes it trains.
“My players are always brave, alert and confident. In-game discipline, total awareness and individual micro-organisms are also very important in Solo mode. In addition, we must be aware of the rotation or hunting for our athletes when they are in the first position”, he concluded.
The SEA Games 2023 event for PUBG MOBILE in the Team Event category will be held from May 11-14, 2023 while the Individual Event will be held on May 15, 2023.
